Keep St Barth Green, Keep St Barth Essentiel
Our president participated to a scientific mission in Guadeloupe , in the context of a research project conducted by the Ibios laboratory at the University of Paris is – Créteil on the alternative methods of fight against Leaf-cutter ants Acromyrmex octospinosus which St Barth Essentiel is a partner. This invasive ant was reported in 2011 in Saint-Barthelemy during a first field mission organized at the initiative of the association. Given its negative impact on biodiversity and its opportunistic nature, it is essential to monitor its development.
