OUR ACTION PRESENTED TO A SENATORIAL DELEGATION

Founded in February 2015, in view of the United Nations Climate Change Conference which will be held in Paris in december 2015, the french Senate working group on the situation of french overseas territories facing climate change works on setting public policies to set up in overseas territories. A delegation from the group consisting of Michel Magras, vice president of the group and chairman of the Senate Overseas territories delegation, Jerome Bignon, Senator of the Somme and Jacques Cornano, Senator of Guadeloupe, was in St. Barth on July 20 and 21.

The opportunity for our President Hélène Bernier to present the association’s environnemental action. The territorial Environment Agency also presented its missions as well as Turenne and Didier Laplace whose coral relocation work deserves encouragement.

The senatorial group report is expected in November 2015.
